Most of these buzzes are the sound of people updating their status on Facebook or other social media sites. I believe companies need to have stricter policies on the use of cell phones. Distractions from all the gadgets can slow down worker productivity. Many people say they can multitask, that is, do two or more things at the same time. However, these people don't realize that they are taking advantage of the company's time. I believe that if it is not a work related phone call or a family emergency, the employee does not have the right to answer the phone. Many people take unnecessary breaks at work just because they want to check their phone to see who's playing or what they're having for dinner. Most of these people don't realize that the time they spend taking those breaks can be used for greater productivity. This topic cannot be easily put aside because there are so many reasons why cell phones and laptops should be allowed at work
