Elements of TheatreThe elements of theater are made up of three fundamental requirements; Scene, actors and a screenplay. We believe K-mart needs to adapt their theater to give their customers an overall better experience. K-mart's current theater is unexciting and, honestly, upsetting. In a simple market, the oldest form of retailing is the business of selling products to consumers. With the Internet allowing customers to shop online, retail stores like K-mart must create a "theater" to create experiences where customers enjoy or find value beyond purchasing products at the lowest price. K-mart's current store layout is comparable to most other retail locations such as Wal-Mart and Target. We believe that K-mart needs a separate identity from these other stores to draw attention to the store. Over the years, K-mart has failed to upgrade or upgrade its stores.
