A descriptive study on social enterprises should be for-profit or non-profit IntroductionIn modern society, we often hear news about social enterprises, TV, magazines and Internet . We cannot overlook the function of social enterprises in our country. Social enterprises play a vital role in helping the homeless, providing employment opportunities, increasing national income and promoting economic growth. Meanwhile, controversies ensue. However, the positive rating is more than the negative one. People still hope to see more social enterprises. The main objective of this study is to discuss whether social enterprise should be non-profit or not. People have different opinions on this hot topic. The first question focuses on whether social enterprises should be for-profit or non-profit; the second question is what kind of people can become social entrepreneurs? The third question illustrates the ideology of social entrepreneurs. The last question is careful to identify strengths and weaknesses and to collect some useful suggestions. Should social enterprises be non-profit? In my opinion, I think social enterprises should not be non-profit. The reasons are as follows: First, social entrepreneurship has become inclusive and now has a huge tent in which all kinds of socially useful activities fit in.(1). In the contemporary, social entrepreneurs recognize immediate social problems, but also seek to understand the broader context of an issue that crosses disciplines, fields, and theories. Gaining a broader understanding of how a problem relates to society allows social entrepreneurs to develop innovative solutions and mobilize available resources to impact global society as a whole (2). ...... middle of the paper ...... the product or service will be sold and who will buy it, the benefits of the product or service, how it differs from similar ones and the delivery methods.( 6) In a word, social entrepreneurs can bring more positive signals to society. The best example can be illustrated by some social enterprises in London. At the beginning, in their activity, a group of volunteers from London's homeless vagrants distributed socks, so as to keep them warm. Removed the colored glasses to communicate with them, listen to their stories and suffering. In fact, many people were not the dirty, dangerous, horrible people as portrayed in the conventional view. Their life became so bad（可否改的正式一点？）, because they encountered all sorts of evil and harm. Some people were kicked out of home at the age of 15, without a permanent job and decent clothes, they can't apply for a job (没有连接词).
