There are many different cultures and traditions in the world. While some vary widely, others can be quite similar. Comparing two cultures can be eye-opening, allowing you to see the different lifestyles, behaviors and customs of each. Both Indian and Chinese life, while having many differences, are surprisingly similar in some areas. From a distance they seem like strong contrasts, but when you examine them more closely you see that they have many correlative things. Especially family life, daily life and the economy. While somewhat similar, family life in India and China is probably the most uneven. First, marriage, having some comparable ties between the two, is treated quite differently. An Indian family usually advertises in the newspapers for a wife for their daughter or son, giving exacting details about who they want the spouse to be.
