Topic > Mythology of the Zuni and Noongar - 1888

The Zuni (known as the A:shiwi) are a nationally recognized Native American tribe. They belong to the Pueblo people group. Zuni is thirty-four miles south of the city, in New Mexico. In addition to the reservation, the tribe owns trust lands in Catron County, Land of Enchantment, and Apache County, Arizona. The Zuni people have lived in the Southwest for thousands of years. Their cultural and spiritual traditions are immutable, half, in the people's deep and close ties to the mountains, forests and deserts of this ancient Zuni state. Being primarily farmers, the Zuni raise corn and wheat and interact in the creation of jewelry. it has become a very important extra source of financial gain for people. Ancient Zuni life is familiarized around a linear social group system, and a sophisticated ceremonial system supported a belief internal to the ancestors (the ancient ones). There are six specialized groups, each with a limited membership and its own profession, dedicated to the worship of a specific group of supernaturals. During the famous Shalako show, which takes place in early winter, dancers representing the couriers of the rain deities return to bless the new homes. A technique specific to the Zuni people for these cultural traditions is through their art: in painting, pottery, jewelry, and fetish carving, for example. This is vital for the Zuni to unite the past with the present. The Noongar are an indigenous Australian tribe in the southwestern corner of the Australian state, from Geraldton in the geographic area to Esperance on the south coast. Historically, they inhabited the region from Jurien Bay to the southern coast of Western Australia and east to present-day Ravensthorpe. The Noongar consist of fourteen t...... paper halves...... te in each area. Once a valuable natural resource is discovered on a reservation, the government wants to be able to extract it, but the natives won't allow it. They say it is their land and the government has no rights over it. In conclusion, Aboriginal people and Native Americans were treated unequally by Europeans. They were deprived of their land and rights and were treated badly. This gave them typical thoughts about their history that allow them to connect within their groups/tribes. This also demonstrates the inhumanity of people, especially European settlers. They are therefore convinced that they have the right to take another man's property/and/or land and chase him away so that they can get what the other person has. It makes you believe in the total lack of kindness, generosity and human sympathy in the world.
