Topic > What I Learned About Effective Management - 786

Management, where I begin to explain how I applied my skills in this course. The management course has been the main part of my job for many years. This year I feel satisfied with what I learned in the management course. I started with a lot of difficulties, but in the end everything seems to have started to work. Working with classmates opens my eyes to see everything that is needed to achieve the grade we are looking for. I have found that management theory is more black and white than what I have applied in the real workplace. It seems that management can be expressed in many different ways. The basic foundation is just a guideline for planning, organizing, leading and controlling. I used my skills to be productive with frontline employees, learning and developing my skills to be a better manager. I learned a lot of management skills on the job. This course has shown me a different approach to management and using these ideas will help me advance in my career. I am a practical manager and I grow with the hand of my employees. Managers are the backbone of the operation and many skills help you become a good manager. Laughter barriers were and are the most challenging thing to manage. Get people to do what is expected and explain it. So I learned to do as you would expect. Management is an uphill process that starts from the bottom and working your way up earns a lot of respect from the employee you manage. Get the most out of people simply by communicating. Management is about watching and caring about what employees do. In this course I learned to see more of what my employees are doing rather than just telling them to do it. This helps understand the job and what they might need to create a...... middle of paper ...... or frontline worker communication is an important key. No communication means the death of a company from within. This lesson showed many different ways a company can be great or just ok. I start everything from the top, but I built on the front line. Where all the action is where the hard work begins. Management is an excellent tool for keeping a company afloat and growing into the future. I learned that without a plan and a management team to implement these ideas. Nothing gets done. Leadership starts somewhere and this course has shown me that management can be that leadership. It starts with a basic idea and can grow. Planning and strategy help in everything we do today. This course opened my eyes to see the different level of management and also to grow as a manager. I will use these skills throughout my life to achieve goals and plan for the future.
