Information technology has helped so many people stay connected with others, interact with others through social networks, help employees with work, or help employers understand who they are hiring. So how could computer technology help me? In many ways, then not. One is through social, education and another is professional. So having all this technology might be a little overwhelming, but overall it's useful to almost everyone. This latest technology today can help so many people with so many different things, whether it's talking to your best friend, talking on Skype with your future boss about your future career, spending more than eight hours researching a document that must be delivered in less than twenty-four hours. hours away or just sitting at the computer for hours watching cat videos on the Internet. It depends on how you spend and use your time on the Internet. Some technologies help me and others in many social ways, most ways. Social technology helps me meet people, reach out to those who have no other way to reach them, or even just see what your colleagues and friends are up to on a daily basis. Networking helps you keep up with everyone and see everything that's trending right now. But let's say I posted something inappropriate on my Facebook or Twitter and my future or present boss sees it via the social network, then what they perceive of me would be totally rethought regarding how I behave outside of the workplace . That boss or colleague would reconsider their decision to hire me or even include me on the team just based on that Internet post. Just to maintain the image that they're trying so hard to try to maintain and enhance. Belonging to that image is their job, so hiring you or me would also be a... middle of paper...... I put it on social networks, and tell others because you never know how bad it can be take if you don't know the consequences. I have used the Internet for many things, mostly for academic purposes. Those purposes that involve helping research an article, finding information for an essay, or even watching a video to help with a presentation. All very good things come from information technology. Educational technology basically falls into the same category as academic technology and basically acts the same way when it comes to wanting to discover something or even just knowing what something means. So in turn, having all this technology around us is helpful and distracting at the same time... Because once you start watching cat videos you can't stop.
