Topic > Defining Global Warming - 1108

Global warming is a very broad topic. The official definition of global warming is an increase in the earth's average atmospheric temperature which causes corresponding climate changes and which may result from the greenhouse effect. I translate it into warming the earth; this could be caused by people. Personally I think global warming is man-made. Some processes that contribute to global warming are factories, cars, and many other objects that produce carbon dioxide. Global warming affects each of us. The earth is warming and melting all the ice and glaciers. This is very harmful to animals and humans. The effect we are having on Earth is becoming a bigger problem than we can handle. Greenhouse gases are one of the main causes of global warming. The population increases every day. This means that greenhouse gases are getting bigger. This is because the denser the population, the more devices that produce greenhouse gases are used. The more our population evolves, the more advanced it becomes. Our advanced technology is producing vehicles. About 15% of human-produced carbon dioxide comes from vehicles. Vehicles produce chlorofluorocarbons and other gases that cause smog and air pollution. When this odorless, colorless, non-toxic gas enters the atmosphere it can destroy the ozone layer. Many toiletries also end up in landfills and pollute the land. Products that do not contain certain harmful gases can remain in landfills for years and years and pollute the earth and atmosphere. Greenhouse gases, created by overpopulation, vehicles and waste disposal, are a major cause of global warming. Global warming is caused by humans. Since our population is... in the middle of paper... they use it daily, as well as recycling. Personally, recycling makes you feel important. Simply placing a piece of paper in the recycling bin can make a difference for everyone. The economy would also be affected. This is because the more materials we reuse, the fewer materials we have to produce, saving money. Recycling is a very simple way to impact our world. Man-made materials are what cause global warming. With the increase in carbon dioxide there is only one explanation: our materials. The things we use produce gases that are harmful to the environment. The excellent part is that there are many possible solutions such as; carpooling, energy efficient homes and recycling. At the beginning of my research I was more undecided whether global warming was natural or man-made. By the end of my research I have completely decided that global warming is man-made.
