The cunning of colonialism in Africa changed its history forever, but there were good and bad effects because they built schools and improved medical care, but they also had segregated benefits and resource drain. During the period of colonization in Africa there were actually not many positive impacts of colonialism on Africa except modernization. Colonialism brought modernization to technologically underdeveloped regions of the world. The modernization plans contained such things as building railroads for accessible trade, called for medical advancements, and called for schools that accommodated more modern education. These approaches have helped green nations straighten out their universal status as midpoints for trade. Improvements to education have given immigrant students the opportunity to compete with foreign students in fields such as literature, art, mathematics and science. Another thing that had a positive impact on colonialism was the end of the countries' poor traditions. During the development of colonialism, the ruling nation had the ability to improve or destroy some social beliefs of the region. For example, once India was colonized, the long-standing practice of Sati was destroyed in India. Ian Smith is right in what he says because if there were no colonialism, Africa would not modernize and would not be able to keep up with other countries in the world. Some other good things they left behind were things like roads, railways, some hospitals and even schools which were built for the benefit of the colonizers but when they left virtually no one knew how to run them. Another positive impact of colonialism on Africa was that the colonial powers introduced a productive administrative system in the country. It gave... half the paper... it created a shortage in Africa's mineral wealth. This was a disadvantage for African countries of their raw materials. There was no chance for Africa to develop and be in competition with the world as it was in rivalry with Europe. In conclusion, all these effects may not seem that serious and negative, however, they have all played a rather important role in bringing African culture together. The war that broke out with imperialism left unfathomable scars on the African nation, which caused racial obstruction and social distinctions. The cruel treatment of imperialist Westerners towards African workers is unspeakable and is once and for all, the ideas that Westerners had conveyed to Africa during the imperialist era do not dominate the cost of African lives that were sacrificed for European industries..
