Topic > Bad Guy vs. Bystander: Who's Evil? - 694

“The world is a dangerous place to live in; not because of evil people, but because of people who do nothing about it.” This is one of Albert Einstein's most famous beliefs. Einstein's mantra is a powerful saying because many crimes and evil events happen every day. What I understand about his belief is that the world is not a bad place to live because of evil people, it is a bad place to live because no one will do anything to stop these people. For example, imagine Adolf Hitler. He was a horrible, evil man and six million Jews died because of him, but they also died because bystanders were not brave enough to defend the Jews and fight Hitler. If more people had realized what he was doing sooner, together they could have stopped the massacre of many Jews. This belief has impacted many people, including me, my mother, and others around the world. However, many bad changes can result from evil events, but you should know that they are not happening just because of one person; Instead all of this happens because of people who didn't stand up for what was right. This belief impacts me in my school and family life. My friends usually argue pointlessly and sometimes violently. This is wrong because this is not how you strengthen your relationship with a friend. Many times I try to stop them from arguing and it usually works. This will help prevent them from becoming spectators in the future. Also, I sometimes have mischievous friends who like to prank people and get into dangerous situations. Some examples of this are Ding-dong ditching and ice skating on a half-frozen pond or river. Sometimes I just wish he would learn the hard way, but the good part of me takes over and tells me to advise... middle of paper... parts of the world always threaten another country. Finally, the government of North Korea is controlled by a family dictatorship. They are limiting everything for the people. Also their ability to leave the country and where they live. In conclusion, many evil events occur every day and you may not be enough to put an end to them, but you are one of the thousand ripples in this great lake. Many people must accept the challenge of preventing these bad things from happening. Albert Einstein's belief is strongly intertwined in our lives, whether you notice it or let go of problems. The world, my mother, and I have been, and always will be, enormously influenced by Einstein's timeless and ever-powerful understanding of the world. Works Cited Info please.
