Introductory Paragraph Imagine longer summers, shorter winters, with no spring or fall in between. Well, you don't have to, because it's happening right now. It will only take one more degree for spring and autumn to disappear forever. This decade was the warmest since 1880. Scientists say the earth could be an additional 7.2 degrees Fahrenheit warmer by the 21st century if we don't reduce our use of fossil fuels. Climate change also adds further risks to our food supplies. Scientists say they have already seen harmful effects in some regions. The melting of polar ice would become another serious effect of global warming if it is not stopped, which could cause problems for many lives on Earth and not just humans. Thesis Statement Global warming is a negative effect on Earth on what it affects; There are animals facing extinction, including polar bears and many other animals, diseases spreading to areas never seen before, and rising sea levels that could cause problems for living societies and forest fires for the environment and population. One degree of Earth's temperature across its entire surface means huge changes in climate extremes. Outline We, as people and as humans living on Earth, must preserve the planet we live on and protect it. One of the ways we survive and a way of living as humans is to take in and feed on animals. Animals reflect our way of life, an animal like the sea turtle is losing its habitat; such as coral reefs and seagrasses due to climate change. The main threat to polar bears is the loss of their sea ice habitat due to global warming. The effects of global warming on polar bears are that polar bear population sizes are decreasing, sea ice shelves are rapidly separating more and more, and the s...... middle of paper ......ildlife /Global-Warming/Effects-on -Wildlife-and-Habitat.aspx>."Global warming and wildfires."
