Popular culture is the new name for "low culture" which refers to cultural products that have standardized mass production such as television, music and magazines that are shared and known by most people. (Nakayama, 2013). The power of popular culture is enormous as it serves the purpose of social functions such as establishing social norms, identity, and giving meaning through shared rituals. Therefore stereotyping a particular race changes the perspective of ordinary people when they interact. Since popular culture helps create social norms, identities, etc., people become accustomed to what they say and produce for consumption and unconsciously become accustomed to that information and recognize and even participate in racial activities. used primarily as a mechanism and/or platform that produces demeaning ideologies and practices towards the African-American community that cause prejudice, intolerance and discrimination and reflect an amalgam of complex and sometimes contradictory social meanings and relationships that certainly represent an unethical representation of a particular breed. Class, race, culture, and age are the creation of popular culture. These distinctions and differences are based on what consumers perceive from the information provided to them. Show differences through skin color, places where people live, habits and norms people share, etc. creates multiple boundaries and places people in different places based on the factors mentioned. This creates distinction between people and makes them different from each other. A conscious effort by everyone can not only bring a positive change in attitude and ideas in relation to discrimination but also bring about tremendous social changes for a better world in the days to come..
