Topic > The Six Dimensions of Wellbeing - 1446

Wellbeing is a very important aspect when it comes to an individual's health. The six dimensions of well-being are: Social, Occupational, Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual and Emotional. It was developed to help people understand their well-being and overall health. Their main goal is for everyone to be strong in all these dimensions. The social is the dimension that focuses on the individual's interactions and friendships with other people. Social well-being is important because it helps shape a community. The city of Marquette, for example, has strong social well-being. Marquette is a beautiful city with many friendly people. Since everyone here has such strong social well-being, it makes for a great place to live. Detroit, on the other hand, has weaker social welfare. I don't mean to attack Detroit, but it's not as friendly as the big city of Marquette. Most people in Detroit must have lower social well-being, which makes the city more dangerous to live in. Not everyone will be willing to help you or become your friend, unlike Marquette. My social well-being is pretty good. I love meeting people and developing friendships. Social well-being in my life is very important because I see everyone as equal. I will help others and my community every chance I get. Being socially active makes me happy and I hope that others develop strong social well-being just like me. Wellbeing at work is the attitude towards work. When an individual is working it is of utmost importance to be happy. When someone is happy in their field of work, they will benefit their business more than someone who is unhappy in their field of work. High well-being at work is important for health and happiness. If someone... is in the center of the card...... true well-being, I want to know more about myself. I want to learn what I'm capable of doing. I've also never been very spiritual. I never really go to church, which is bad since my family does. I currently have excellent physical well-being, but I really want to improve it. Since I am in ROTC and will eventually become an Army officer, it is absolutely important for me to be in the best shape possible. I really want to go to Ranger school and that requires being in the best physical shape possible. I am currently very good at emotional, social and work well-being and I know that I won't need to focus too much on this. However, I always try to improve myself. My overall goal in life is to be happy with who I am, which I currently am. I work hard on my goals and usually achieve them. I also know that my personal well-being is strong and I intend to keep it that way.
