“WOMAN BY WOMAN” records the dynamic change for women in a part of India's least developed cities. It features an Indian village that has long been riddled with poverty; However, in recent years a sense of hope has been found thanks to hard-working women who have stepped up to make a change. The people who suffer most from poverty are women and girls. Many acts of discrimination against women have occurred due to growing poverty in families. As mentioned in the video, “violent acts provide evidence of anti-female bias.” Several organizations, besides the Indian government, are helping India build a thriving future. Many girls begin physical labor at an early age and do not achieve the same education as boys. The women of the village work from morning to night to survive. Village women are encouraged to work together with their practitioner husbands after attending a training course in the city. Say no to plagiarism. Some family members are starting to support gender equality efforts, for example so that daughters-in-law can work in the village, instead of living isolated in her family. In the video, a husband shares his feelings about working with his wife. As he exclaims, husband and wife “are incomplete without each other” and “one without the other cannot function.” He feels they should be able to share each other's responsibilities. Men are seen as the dominant group, while women are given no value. Parents are trying to do everything in their hands to avoid giving birth to a girl. The conflict theory is demonstrated in various cases in the video. For example, when it comes to education and work, females do not receive enough education, and some do not, compared to males. As the video says, “In the northern states only one girl on.
