Introduction to the DLIS Risk Mitigation Plan (or RM)The purpose of the RM Plan will be to provide an updated Department of Defense Logistics Agency RM plan of the Defense Defense Logistics Information Service. The current RM Plan has become obsolete due to technological advancements, vulnerability and exploitation of technology, government regulations and data protection standards. The new draft RM Plan will be designed to update the plan with all requirements and create a framework ready for further updates as required. The importance of the plan is defined as the need to proactively mitigate risk to the DLIS and the security of information and information for which the DLIS is responsible. DLADLIS MRI plan outline The RM plan outline is presented for immediate implementation based on the previously approved Risk Analysis plan. The DLADLIS will set the delivery date for the implementation of the RM plan according to its needs. As with the previous risk assessment plan, the DLADLIS will set the date and requirements for the launch of the RM plan. Scope and Limitations of the Risk Mitigation PlanThe project scope of the DLADLIS RM plan will include the DLIS management structure, personnel and customers who request DLIS information. DLA has over 26,000 employees. The scope of the RM plan will include all combat support logistics information under the administration of the DLIS. The boundaries of the RM plan would be defined by the criteria and requirements established by the RM plan mandate.
