I like that the teacher emphasized that leadership can be found everywhere. Leaders don't necessarily exist only in a company where there are many people following you. “Everyone has the potential and opportunity to be a leader.” They may be the best at inspiring others, or the best at solving problems or dealing with criticism. In general, we all have the need to lead and I find, during group discussions, that the difference and uniqueness of us gives us our own perspective to see and do things. Leadership also means understanding and combining many different talents and making them work together to create the best outcome. There are many types of leaders and many leadership styles. Yet I think we should not categorize ourselves in one of them or identify our superiors in one of them. Why? Because I think it is essential to be flexible and adapt the direction to take based on the situations.
