Binge Drinking could be identified in various definitions or how an individual would interpret it. For college students, I would define it as "a way of drinking non-stop, just for fun", or "drinking excessively until you get drunk". Binge eating can be interpreted in a scientific form, as "NIAAA defines binge eating as a drinking pattern that brings blood alcohol concentration (BAC) levels to 0.08 g/dL. This typically occurs after 4 drinks for women and 5 drinks for men—in about 2 hours (National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism)." It would heat up among both genders, males and females regarding alcohol consumption in a given period of time. Researchers have come to the conclusion that what is called binge eating is like getting a better result as a before and after effect, being influenced by alcohol consumption among college students. The reason for this procedure for my experiment would be that I would like to see the change in behavior, the influences triggered, and the cause and effect tracked across a period of time. Meanwhile, the undergraduate student would become in transition going from graduate student to freshman student and throughout his or her undergraduate years. There may be different quantities of variables used for this research assignment. Gender, class status, race, alcohol consumption, length of time it is consumed, parental influences and motivators, etc. It is how an individual would like to get the context of binge drinking and what purpose this study will serve. The longitudinal study design influences the study of trends which, furthermore, measures over time and the characteristics of some populations are monitored over time. It is like obtaining a subset of the population that would constitute the sum of the overall population. The overall population, which in this case would be a larger set, would be the total undergraduate students in the public university, WilliamSince it would be impossible to get the full capacity of the university. Based on William Paterson's website, we will provide some information that may not be current but is summary facts. "Located on 370 wooded acres in Wayne and North Haledon, New Jersey, the campus is just three miles from the historic Great Falls in Paterson and just 20 miles from the rich cultural, artistic and commercial life of New York City. The University has of more than 11,000 students. During the fall 2014 semester, 9,619 undergraduate students and 1,429 graduate students were enrolled.” The scientific results that should be used are the following variables, which represent a logical set of attributes. Attributes are a characteristic or quality of something. For example, the attributes of my study would be the ages of both genders of college students and parents. This is because there is a possibility of inheriting alcohol drinking behavior during adolescence into young adulthood. "The implication of the level of measurement would be that analyzes require a minimum level of measurements and some variables can be treated as multiple levels of
