In today's world, the Internet Service Provider (also known as ISP) market is characterized by a great diversity of services offered and commercial connections that differentiate it from the traditional telecommunications market . The diversity of interactions and services of the Internet Service Provider market is reflected in the companies involved (ranging from niche market ISPs to global players). In this project, we evaluate the Internet services market and also the different types of ISPs that exist. We also identify the subset of Internet Service Providers (ISPs). The term Internet Service Provider (ISP) is commonly found in the literature with many different definitions. A common recognition of Internet service provider by Norton (2002) is that “an organization that sells access to the Internet”. Meanwhile, Huston (1998) defines Internet service provider as an access provider that provides various value-added services such as bulletin board services, electronic mail and so on. According to Greenstein (1999), ISPs sell basic (small-bandwidth) Internet access and some optional services that fall into five categories: basic access, border access, networking, Web page design, and hosting. In common, Internet Service Provider (ISP) is a company that provides Internet connections and services to customers. To provide Internet access, ISPs also provide software packages such as a browser, email account, personal website or home page. Through network access points, public network facilities on the Internet backbone, ISPs are all connected to each other.
