Topic > Aristotle's Theory of Character-Based Ethics - 704

For example, killing people, abusing animals, stealing are all mistakes, and bad habits arise from this behavior. To have good character, we need to work on better habits and practice them in the journey of life. People need to behave well and do the right things to make better choices. There may be situations where bad behavior may be acceptable, as a Christian some things must weigh into why an individual did or said what they did, and their morals for this are acceptable. The choices we make are on a personal level, they will determine how behavior prevails over the situation. The individual will be responsible for their actions and it is their responsibility to make the right choice. ReferenceSelected Critiques of Aristole's Ethics. (n.d.).
