What would I like about being a guidance counselor? Every student needs help in some way whether entering high school, needing information, choosing a career, or talking about personal problems. As a scholar, I realize that guidance counselors play an important role in helping a student for the future. School counselors play an important role in a student's life, with all kinds of problems, emotionally and mentally and I would like to be a part of helping the student. This profession interests me for two reasons. First of all, I like talking to all kinds of people. Secondly, I always worry about other people's feelings. The combination of these two qualities of mine is what makes me think being a guidance counselor is for me.
