Love comes in every way, shape and form, whether it's living under the paws of cattle or living in a beautiful stream. The theme of "The Clod and the Pebble" by William Blake is depicted through truly unique imagery, fantastic choice of words, and extraordinary relationships. This eccentric poem by William Blake talks about the different lives of a very simple clod and a pebble in which two opposite worlds live. The way this poem begins can be very misleading until the second stanza, where it begins to tell us what it is really about. William Blake then explains to us the two lives of these two very different souls. The theme of "The Clod and the Pebble" is to accept your life, no matter where you live or travel, and not be that person who has a great life, but is always complaining. The theme is depicted through very unique imagery with the extreme choice of hilarious words that this poet has carefully chosen to make the entire poem flow like a stream in the middle of summer with an incredible number of trout in the sparkling blue water. When he presents us with this lump of clay who is living a horrible life, but finds a silver lining in all of it. This little lump of clay lives under the feet of cattle and is continually trampled, and although it is trampled ninety percent of its life, it discovers what the silver lining of it all is. It says, “Trampled with the feet of the cattle,” which would be one of the worst things that could happen in the world, and yet this lump of clay manages to find the best of its life under the feet of the cow. Considering this, the first verse gives you a sort of summary of what will be said about the lump of clay. To explain what William Blake said in the first stanza is that love does not… center of paper… four stanzas in this poem with four lines in each stanza. This helps with the theme because it tells us about the two people in life and teaches us to be happy go lucky and not grumpy old men. When you read this article we hope you will see the difference between these two characters, because some of them don't. While reading this essay we hope you have kept everything in mind because we certainly will. Love comes in every way, shape and form, whether it's living under the feet of cattle or living in a beautiful stream. This has nothing to do with how well you can live your life living in the worst conditions or living in the best conditions. It means how great your attitude is about it despite the conditions we are in or even when you just go to school, why say there is a teacher you don't like be happy, go lucky and do what he asks you, then he you'll really like them.
