First, the public health service can provide direct impact, but by promoting reproductive health education and direct help with contraception, including contraception emergency that can contribute to reproductive autonomy. Much can be done to ensure the necessary medical care for women, especially young mothers, since the maternal mortality rate is still very high among the economically disadvantaged. Public health can organize family planning services, prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted infections. Several direct interventions to improve overall health, including combating malnutrition and vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Indirect impact can be achieved at different levels and with the help of society. Promote general education for women from an early age, prevent violence against women, create social structures (e.g. nurseries for children) that give women the opportunity to find work and become more financially independent.
