I won't lie, it will be awkward because obviously the person isn't dead yet, but the person for whom the living funeral is intended will be very happy and very appreciative of what people they have to say for that person because what will those words mean for the person's funeral later when they are not there to hear it. I would feel comfortable going to a live funeral and I would love to honor the person who is leaving and just tell them what they did for me in my life and how much they mean to me. No one knows how much something means to them until they realize it is no longer there before their eyes. Be grateful for what you have because someone else may not
