King Arthur is an outstanding British leader of the 5th and 6th centuries, the son of Uther Pendragon and Lady Igraine. Arthur is one of the greatest mythical heroes the world has ever known. Arthur had a great influence on other people and many of them looked up to him. Arthur's coming was prophesied years before he was even born. Arthur was born into a world of chaos and disorder, full of love and tragedy. Nowadays, many scholars continue to debate whether or not King Arthur was a real person or just a mythological figure. Based on the facts however, many believe that Arthur was not a real person; just a legendary British leader in the 5th and 6th centuries. According to history, there was no one called King Arthur in the late 5th and early 6th centuries in Britain. Furthermore, King Arthur's actions do not correspond to the typical actions of a king of the time. Even the events described in the tales of King Arthur are not connected to any real historical event. The legend of King Arthur was magnificent in a way that represents the spirit of royalty at the time, but sadly it may have been nothing more than a bedtime story. According to historical records, there was no one called King Arthur in the 5th and early 6th centuries. If we look at the chronology of Middle Age Kings, the name King Arthur does not appear in the documentation. The Middle Ages, also known as the Dark Ages, were a time when knowledge and learning were scarce. The Dark Ages affected the British people due to the loss of records and technology. During the Dark Ages, the development of science ceased. It was one of the darkest eras in human history because no historical facts were recorded. Many historians are trying to find out more abo... half of the paper... why in the 5th and early 6th centuries, the name King Arthur does not appear in documents. King Arthur's actions also do not match the actions of a king in the Middle Ages. The events in which the story of King Arthur is involved are not related to authentic historical facts.
