Topic > Who are angels and demons? - 659

Nowadays, people think many different things about angels and demons. Some think that an angel is someone who has died and cares for them. Others think that angels are those who are good and in the kingdom of God sing and praise God. And some people think that angels are both people they know who have passed on and who care about them, and they are beings in the kingdom of God. Demons are thought of in a couple of different ways. Some people think they are all bad people who died and instead of going to Heaven, they went down there and live around fire and evil. Others tend to think that they are evil spirits living among us, even if you can't see them. Many theologians have found that the topic of angels is indeed a very difficult topic to discuss and prove. “For, although there is abundant mention of angels in the Bible, the nature of this revelation lacks the same kind of explicit description that we often find with other topics developed in the Scriptures: any reference to angels is incidental to some other topic” (Keathley ). Many people in this world believe in angels, but every time they are mentioned they bring a message from God to the people in this world. Angels are mentioned a lot in the Bible. “They were created beings (Psalms 148:2 Psalms 148:5) and were exuberant witnesses when God brought the world into existence (Job 38:7)” (Wilson). In the Bible they are mainly mentioned when God wants messages to be delivered to people. Now, in the Bible, it is explained how not all angels were trustworthy and did not always listen and obey God. “By nature they were spiritual entities, and therefore not subject to the limitations of human flesh. Although they are holy, angels are co... the focus of the document... how they became demonic and their organizational structure do not receive significant attention in the Scriptures because the focus throughout the Bible is on God and his work in Christ rather than demonic attempts to diminish that work” (Bible.Org). Even though the Bible doesn't tell us much about how angels turned into demons, after reading in the Bible, you know that they were angels who were "out of line with God and turned their backs on Him.
