I completely agree with your argument. When communicating with administration, faculty, staff, students, etc. you must communicate clearly and concisely. To inspire you must be able to communicate. Therefore, communication plays a key role in “effective” leadership. There are a number of leaders I can think of off the top of my head who are not true leaders because they are unable to communicate effectively.
