With the constant streaming of new movies and TV shows available, viewers tend to watch them for entertainment. They see a fun film about conflict that sparks a sense of adventure in them. But do they really understand what the film can teach viewers? In today's society, themes are lost in entertainment purposes. However, books have developed to do what a movie does and so much more. In this way books give life to all the people who read them. When a person reads a book he is enraptured by the plot. They need to understand and comprehend in order to finish the book and make sense of it. Movies can just be watched idly without gaining attention or intellect. For this reason, films fail to leave their mark. They reduce until they close, and then it's done. People may spend time after watching the film ranting or praising the writers to their friends, but after a few days it's gone. The books, however, remain with them. It takes more than a couple of hours to finish and reach the climax. Readers spend more time with these characters than with those in a movie, even though they are the same characters doing the same things. From books, readers learn about characters' thoughts, actions, reasoning, and intentions rather than just their partial actions and reasoning. This develops their personality and morals more clearly, so it is easy to relate to and criticize them. The characters come to life in the reader's mind, giving a new life to the person. With this new life to connect to, it leads to a better understanding of the themes the book is trying to convey. Themes are the backbone and soul of a book. Writing a book that teaches you nothing would be useless. Even if it's a simple t......middle of paper......realistic or fair. In some places part of the image is missing, leaving the feeling that something is not right. A book gives life and completion to the reader. There is nothing wrong because books have the special quality of being able to create an image suited to each specific reader. A film has an image made by someone else. There is no personal imagination and never can be. No matter how wonderful or amazing a movie may seem, compared to the book version, it will always come in second place because of everything it can't give viewers. Books bring the written word to life in a way that a movie can't. It doesn't matter how you shoot a film. A film cannot capture the essence it is trying to duplicate. It will only fail and leave you disappointed with the ending. If one of these were to disappear, no one would miss cinema if books could replace them all.
