Potential participants were recruited from multiple states using a list of state employees, a university list of online students currently enrolled in a master's program in rehabilitation counseling, and by word of mouth. Participants completed an online survey developed for this study consisting of demographic questions and questions regarding their experience as a current rehabilitation counselor. Participants were informed that their participation was voluntary and that they were free to discontinue it without prejudice. A total of 143 consultants responded to the invitation. A total of 39 surveys were unusable due to partial responses or abandoned surveys. The final number of 104 participants was usable
