Charity and philanthropy were the main drivers of CSR in the first phase. It has been influenced by family values ​​and tradition, culture, religion and industrialization. In the pre-industrial period, some wealth was shared by wealthy merchants with society through the construction of temples. Furthermore, they provided their own food and money, thus helping society overcome famine phases and thus securing an integral position in society. From 1850 onwards, with the arrival of colonial rule in India, the perspective towards CSR
