I want to become an elementary reading teacher. Being an elementary teacher is interesting to me because I love working with children and want to enhance their educational career. My job would be to prepare my students for the next grade level. For example, I would stay a little late after school and help my kids with what they need to be successful. I would make sure they read books at their grade level or higher. Make sure they read more so their vocabulary can expand. Reassuring that they understand what they are reading so they don't get confused. I would give them lesson plans to teach them to read, write and communicate in a better way. Being an elementary teacher would require a lot of patience. You will have to manage children, some may be difficult to handle and give you a hard time and some may be well behaved. Some children will be slower than others and will take longer to understand the lesson plan, so as a teacher you will need to spend more time with them and work with them through the progression. A teacher's job is to care for children as if they were their own children. You would need good cooperation to work with these young children. Being an elementary teacher means you can't give up so easily on your children, it can be stressful but you have to have a healthy attitude to have a great impact on the child's future. Being a teacher requires working in an educational setting. Most teachers typically work 40 to 50 hours per week. They should be present at least thirty minutes before class, at least thirty minutes after class and at the end of school. Being a teacher means giving your students the highest priority by making sure what you teach is what they need... middle of paper... or the joy of seeing your students develop their skills is this you can also spend time time with your family. You would have days at your disposal to do your personal things, such as spending time with your family or yourself. You get Christmas break, Thanksgiving break, spring break, nice weather days, and at least a month off in the summer. Being a teacher actually gets you more work than you thought. The hassle you have to go through to get your kids where you want them. Schools always need dedicated teachers who place children's education as their main priority; This work would benefit my community by having more educated children where I live and making a difference in their lives by teaching them to read and write more appropriately. I would like to become a teacher because I love collaborating with children and teaching is what I want to do for the rest of my life.
