There is a lot of history that led Japan to bomb Pearl Harbor, Japan needed a reason to bomb the United States. The Japanese couldn't have bombed Pearl Harbor just for fun, in fact, the Japanese were angry at the United States even though they thought they were allies during World War I. Although the attack on Pearl Harbor was not the reason for World War II to begin with, it brought the United States into the war. However, the United States and Japan managed to end World War II. Many people died as a result of the attack on Pearl Harbor, but the United States did not stay there, it declared war. The Japanese had a specific reason for attacking the United States; the tragedy occurred and killed more people, but the United States received some warning signs; Eventually the United States enters the war; people were also killed to end the war; and although the United States suffered from that attack, it learned some lessons. The attack on Pearl Harbor didn't just happen because the Japanese were bored and wanted to bomb someone, the Japanese actually had a reason to attack the United States in such a horrendous way. Because the Japanese wanted to rule Asia, the Japanese first sent armies to conquer Manchuria, and then eventually conquered all of China (What we knew before Pearl Harbor). The United States wanted Japan to stop attacking China and trying to conquer it, so that If this happened, President Roosevelt decided to stop Japan from buying oil, this would render the Japanese navy and army useless ( why did Japan attack?) The Japanese finally became angry with the United States and decided to prepare an attack against the United States. prepare for the attack on November 26, 1941; they prepared to make a 3,000 mile journey across the Pacific... middle of paper... it was a devastating experience for the Ricans, we attacked their country, but we didn't kill as many people as they did. We killed 2,402 people, but they killed 70,000 people in Hiroshima and 70,000 people in Nagasaki, that's 140,000 people. Americans have no heart; our attack was just a light attack to protest the US for stopping Japan from buying oil, they had a reason to attack, but they killed too many people. I saw when the bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, it was terrible, the bombs were huge and you could see them from 10 miles. When the bomb exploded in the air, I saw many people die instantly, I was far enough away not to be killed, but I was still infected by radiation. I wasn't the only one who was infected, many people were infected and there are people who are still sick from that bomb, and I'm one of those people.
