Did you know that wrestling was one of the first sports to ever exist for mankind? I believe wrestling is one of the best sports to help you in everyday life and keep you healthy. Wrestling makes children physically and mentally fit and healthy, teaches them how to manage their time while wrestling, and gives them the opportunity to make new friends. The first reason why children should consider joining wrestling is that they will feel healthy and become physically and mentally fit. Wrestling is listed as one of the ten hardest sports. It makes the participants physically fit and healthy because the body needs vital nutrients like vitamin B to fight with other people. You can also become more physically fit because you run up to three or four miles each workout and lift people with your own weight or a little heavier or simply lift the weights provided in your gym/wrestling room. Over the last thirty years, childhood obesity has doubled in children and quadrupled in adolescents. If children were more involved in physical sports like wrestling, they would be more likely to lose weight. Children who play sports are 33% less likely to become obese. Also, if you fight you can develop your mental strength because if you think in your mind that you will lose, you will be more likely to lose than win but, if you think you will win, you will have a better chance of winning. Another way to become mentally tough is to set goals for yourself because when you set goals you get stuck on reaching your goal in wrestling and you have to wear singlets which are very tight and in my opinion it makes you sweat more and therefore you lose more water weight . About a quarter of youth wrestlers lost 10 pounds or more during the season and 11% fasted for more than 2... half of paper... our team is committed to getting their team back into winning ways. Plus you can make friends because from 2002 to 2003 over 40,000 kids joined school wrestling, that's just kids! the number of girls who joined wrestling in the year 2012-2013 was 1,700. Also I think you can make friends is that in a match if you get a takedown you get two points and if you get a takedown the guys on your team cheer for you and that makes you feel good. Then after that match, when you're off the mat, people pat you on the back and it makes you smile. I believe kids should strive because you get to meet friends through time spent with the team, get physically and mentally fit by setting and achieving goals, and it teaches you time management because you have to stay in your weight class. That's why I think children should go to school.
