IntroductionTeaching is an important topic in our life, while the new attitude in education is recently directed to shift from traditional methods of teaching children to modern ones. Indeed, teaching in school, and especially in the primary phase, should be a lot of fun, while the use of games as a technique can help support students' concentration and performance. Consequently, the use of games in schools can add value to teaching, as well as develop students' skills, evolve their awareness and improve the educational process. This article attempts to articulate with an in-depth discussion of the article written by Chow and Woodford (2011). , titled “Deal or No Deal: Using Games to Improve Student Learning, Retention, and Decision Making.” The paper will consider three main points, the purpose of the article, its methodological analysis and the findings linked to the conclusion. Purpose of the Article The authors of this article stated that students' retention and understanding could actually be improved and improved by providing them with alternative learning environments and activities. These alternative activities could include game simulations and exercises that strongly stimulate the student's interest through the educational process. This seems true when considering Aliya's (2002) argument that implementing new techniques is actually easy to learn and understandable by these children. Furthermore, at this stage students obviously choose problems that can be easily solved by focusing on their real learning challenges. On the other hand, learning mathematics, when taken seriously, is a very scary task for children. Furthermore, students often fail to understand that they cannot limit themselves to me...... middle of paper ......nes, V. (2004).
