After finishing his story, he and all his subjects are transformed into serpents. Satan's involuntary transformation demonstrates that his power is lost. He is eternally damned by God to remain in neither Heaven nor Hell, he is no longer powerful enough to have a place in Heaven. Satan's fall from grace is observed in his body as well as his mind, as the outside reflects the inside. His transformation into a humble serpent shows his degraded mind, as he believed that destroying God's creation would restore his pride. Psalm 10:4 says, “In his pride the wicked man seeketh not him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God”. Satan's pride makes him forget the grace of God, causing him to destroy his body as well as his mind. The Devil has compromised his relationship with God and shows no sign of remorse.
