The child would be protected from any viral disease that our culture has faced in the past or present, such as whooping cough, measles, and smallpox. It will also reduce the chances of your baby experiencing birth defects such as heart problems, hearing and vision loss, and liver damage (“Importance of Vaccinations: Overview of Topics,” 1). It not only protects those who receive the vaccine, but also those they come into contact with because it minimizes the chances of spreading the disease and ultimately saves the lives of more children. When a child is vaccinated, it saves parents and society money because we are still able to have him or her be productive and do not have to invest in health campaigns due to the onset of a disease or send additional help to treat the problem. If these actions are not taken in advance, the responsibility falls on taxes
