However, the entire process can be done in less than five minutes: "A cunning data thief can even deduce your Social Security number (which is based on 5-digit zip codes, gender, and date of birth)."(Debatin 86) In an article “Journal of Computer-mediated Communication” Dr. Bernhard Debarin claims that an intelligent data thief can exploit user information on Facebook with relative ease. If a person completely gives away all their privacy information without thinking twice, they are likely to be punished for it. Be prepared to face the consequences, because any context or information people post on Facebook will be there forever and exposed to the public. For example, you can steal other people's information by becoming friends with them or joining as a member of a group that shares the same interest or idea. Furthermore, the act of publishing number, address, time and date of birth can lead to unwanted consequences, because third parties, hackers and stalkers will always find ways to abuse users' personal data
