In my personal philosophy, I firmly believe in the idea that if someone wants to help others, they must first help themselves. That said, in the essence of improving a community with an organization, you need to understand your own strengths to help lead others with their strengths. By using the StrengthsFinder assessment, I was able to learn more about the strengths I bring to my organization. The assessment calculated my top five strengths based on my answers to the set of questions. These strengths include: restorative, futuristic, context, analytical, and belief. By analyzing these strengths, I learned that I am a person who loves to solve problems, detail what the future might bring, learn from the past, challenge the status quo through empirical data and evidence, and uphold core values that influence my behavior in positive ways. and motivating ways. By understanding my strengths, I can build on them. As for my weaknesses, I will turn to members of my organization who can fill the void for my leadership style to fill. Being self-conscious can play a huge role in creating change. Understanding who I am and what I can do is an important individual value within the Social Change Model. By knowing my strengths and those of my colleagues, we can come together to achieve our commonality
