The Wave also offers things to discuss about what loyalty really is in all different aspects; loyalty to self, loyalty to the group, or the dark sense of loyalty with which Ben Ross leads. Laurie Saunders also shows people how to stand up for yourself even when no one is on your side, which is something all teenagers struggle with.
