Topic > Quantitative and qualitative case studies - 726
The use of surveys for quantitative research was discussed in the introduction to the chapter. I believe that using quantitative rather than qualitative is not accurate in describing that student's academic performance among many other social factors; that accompany every student and which have not been taken into consideration. Social factors such as neighborhoods, school funding, good teachers, etc. However, perhaps these smaller groups were in wealthy, stable families and contained family support to help the child continue his education at home and that is why the child performed better and not because it was a smaller group size . By reversing this study it would have been possible to describe it much more clearly
