In the Parsi community in India there are around 250,000 people who live mainly in Mumbai and still practice the religion of Zoroastrianism. Although numbers have declined due to intermarriage with members of other faiths, they believe they are on the way to extinction. Although their views are very similar to those of Orthodox Jews, they still think it is likely that in a few decades Mumbai will be the only remaining viable Zoroastrian population.
