Jack's plan was to put them through rigorous training and he kept a close eye on each of them. Once they go through recruitment, training and with Jack's blessing, they finally become part of the executive team. Two examples of strategic planning aligned with vision: One of his strategic planning aligned with vision was strategic staffing. Jack Welch said, “The ideal manager, according to Welch, is one who shares his vision, has boundless energy, and possesses the ability to radiate enthusiasm and ignite that flame in other employees. Along with these highly desirable skills, the best managers also possess the indispensable gift of creating, developing and refining a vision and practically putting it into practice" (Davis 2010). This suits his vision because these specialized personnel will help realize his vision, thus making them number 1 or number 2 in their field. Another strategic plan used by Jack Welch that aligned with the vision was his three strategic circle master strategic plan. These strategic circles aligned with the vision, because once the company was divided into these circles, they were able to focus. Once they were able to focus, they stood up to get that number 1 and that number 2
