Ancient Greece had a fascinating culture and it influenced me to want to learn more about them, such as their agriculture, trade and so on. The Greeks created the Olympics. Men competed naked, so women were forbidden to watch. Agriculture was part of the daily life of the Greeks. They planted wheat, barley, apples, lettuce, and so on. The most important vegetable was the olive because it was used for cooking, and the most important fruit was the grape because it was used for wine.
