Military organizations are constantly evolving, as are their corporate counterparts. With these changes, leaders and their leadership styles must also change. Effective leaders use changing environments to their advantage as opportunities for growth and as lessons to impart to subordinates. The more skilled a leader is at managing change, the greater the likelihood of greater leadership responsibility. Not only are leaders required to ensure that personal development is ongoing, but they must also provide development opportunities for their subordinates.
