iPhone market segmentation is the process of dividing a market into different consumer segments. It's the way to decide which consumer segments companies will potentially focus on. Market segmentation always comes before targeting a specific audience. This then helps a company try to decide who to market their products to. Marketing and targeting are important to ensure the overall success of a business. Geographic variables play a very important role in market segmentation. An organization can decide whether or not to operate in a country or what type of population it will target. Geographic segmentation is where my product would be marketed, as well as keeping in mind climate, city size, etc. Geographic region Durban City size Less than 10,000, 10,000-20,000, 500,000-750,000 inhabitants Density Urban, suburban Climate Summer, very hot, or humid Demographic segmentation refers to the wants and needs of consumers.
