High school is where I gained awareness of how what I'm learning in school will benefit me in the real world. I learned and retained a variety of information because I felt you would need to know the things I learned to survive in the real world. A perfect example of this is driving education where I learned to drive something I do frequently every day. Another reason I learned and retained so much is that when I entered high school it was around the same time I got my first job. This has definitely opened doors for me by showing me how what I'm learning in school applies to everyday work tasks like learning about and counting money. This is where math comes in. Being able to speak and communicate by writing and verbally is where English comes in. All things I had to do every day
