This shows us how he reacted to the loss of his best friend Mercutio. However, Tybalt's death affects Juliet as he is her dearest cousin. When Juliet is still trying to find out from her nurse exactly what happened to Tybalt and Romeo, she refers to Tybalt as "my dear beloved cousin" and to Romeo as "my dear lord". The sentence referring to Tybalt tells us that Juliet really cared about Tybalt and is upset to know that he has been killed. Her love for Tybalt may also help explain why Juliet felt so deceived by Romeo when she first learns that Romeo killed Tybalt. It's not just the fact that Romeo committed murder that makes her call him an "angelic demon", it's the fact that Romeo killed someone she loves that makes her feel so deceived by him.
