Topic > Age can be a good excuse in a minor case…

“Rape: the unlawful forcing of a person to have sexual intercourse by physical force or coercion.” Rape is not about having unwanted sexual relations with others, but it is all about power overriding another. After rape, victims think they have lost everything and live their lives full of guilt and depression. Does age really matter right now? Young age does not alleviate the victim's anguish or change the situation. The criminal is a criminal and that fact never changes. The juvenile delinquent accused of rape should be tried and sentenced as an adult because this criminal has left an indelible wound on the victim and the high sentence will give the criminal time to think about his action and regret what he has done. Furthermore, the young delinquent needs to know more about the consequences and the great responsibility that follows his action. Who is a teenager? Adolescent is an immature person who is going through a phase of becoming an adult and will also be the next generation who will continue the unfinished works of this generation. Since the adolescent is an important being, adults (parents), especially in the field of education, invest a large amount of money, time and passion in them. Teaching a teenager about responsibility and consequences followed by his action is necessary and important. Here's the thing. Wouldn't giving an appropriate punishment to a juvenile delinquent count as an education? The purpose of sentencing criminals is to teach them the right thing and give them time to think about their action. While the criminals are imprisoned, they will have the chance to repent of their actions and be reborn as a new person. But if people continue to reduce juveniles' sentences and excuse them for their actions, young offenders will not learn... middle of paper... the responsibilities that follow their action just because they are young, juveniles are not not they will realize the severity of their mistake and furthermore, this will continue the vicious cycle of making the same mistake again and again. Since minors are young, it is necessary to strictly control oneself and ask for one's responsibilities. Young people who realize the gravity and seriousness of the consequences and responsibilities will break out a vicious cycle that has been repeated over and over again. Works Cited "Rape."
