Topic > The importance of crime and poverty for crime - 963

Especially in the colonized areas there has been a great alert of crime among civilians. Those civilians who enjoy good economic conditions, for example, have a nice house and a nice car, keep the fear of crime in their minds. In other words, people who are not in a good economic situation may be interested in robbing those who are in a good economic situation. This is an old belief that poverty increases crime. It is understandable that people who have less money are more prone to crime. According to most sociologists, crime is a creation of human beings. This means that crime is influenced by the whole society and not just free will (Bernard et.al. 2010, p.94). This theory offers the certainty that if we change the environment, the crime rate may also change (Bernard et al., 2010, p. 94). Social disorganization and economic situations can influence crime and delinquency. Many researchers have done extensive research on different aspects of socioeconomic situations. Some have suggested that the lack of adequate education, economic stability, transportation and other benefits is somehow responsible for the crime. The absence of good marketing conditions can lead people to seek out illegal marketing activities. This illegal work can cause violence and crime. In the case of graphic localizations, illegal work can create its roots anywhere in the world. Shaw
