Pieces of glass shattered like raindrops from the walls, as I smashed every single object my boyfriend owned. The photos of our love story were torn to shreds as tears streamed down my cheeks. His clothes were stolen, they were supposed to be looked at by me, not some cheap trick he found while out on the road. The bedroom, once spotless and so done up, was now a pile of rubble on the floor, just like our relationship. I couldn't help but feel bad for what I did, I acted on impulse, I didn't think, I destroyed my lovers house. If I had taken the time to address my problem with different options, the outcome could have been more positive. It is important to learn to solve problems in a positive and polite way, critical thinking lessons teach you how to do this. If all people were required to attend classes, everyone's positive choices could have a positive impact on society. This is why I think we should pass a law requiring everyone to take a class every two months. People educated to think critically are often more likely to be more involved in community events such as charity events, town meetings, and voting. Critical thinkers are more likely to discuss controversial topics such as politics and public policy, making them more engaged citizens (critical thinking explained). Isn't this the kind of society we want to live in, a society where people care enough to get involved? Most people want to get involved, but how can they do so if they aren't informed about what's happening around them? More importantly, how can people be informed if they are not interested in knowing what is around them? Thinking critically encourages people to think about topics from other points of view, helps them learn, and helps them become interested... in the center of the paper ......k about issues outside our boxes, and this creates knowledge. If people are aware of the problems around them, they are more likely to care and show compassion towards each other, this can only lead to a stronger society. Although the lessons require time and effort, they will improve people's overall decision making, leading to a less stressful and more positive life. We should all start thinking critically now; we need to be open to the idea of making it a law to take courses to make our lives healthier and our world a better place.
