Starting our life from scratch in America has been a great challenge for my family, but in return, the academic opportunities I have fortunately received in the last four years with success is definitely rewarding and worth it. From a non-English speaker to a fourth-year Biochemistry major at the University of California, Los Angeles, a prestigious institution, I have found my life goals. To continue with the next chapter of my education, I am well prepared and determined to work and study with a strong commitment to Pharmacy. Making this important decision required a great deal of time, effort and willpower. I have dedicated myself completely to pursuing my dream and all I need now is an opportunity to make it happen. As a student majoring in biochemistry, I have not only mastered general pre-pharmaceutical courses, but also possess advanced knowledge and strong analytical skills in biochemistry laboratories. Furthermore, during my studies at UCLA, I trained myself to work efficiently with heavy workloads under pressure.
